Bus routes and estimated times by school

The bus pick up times are estimated, and routes are subject to change based on service needs of our students. These are general route descriptions of streets covered (every minor road may not be listed).

School start and dismissal times


Below is a list for school start times for school year 2023-24. 


Andrew Jackson area schools

Elementary – 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Middle – 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

High – 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

 

Buford area schools

Elementary – 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Middle – 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

High – 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

 

Indian Land area schools

Elementary – 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Intermediate – 8:20 a.m. to 3:20 p.m.

Middle – 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

High – 9:10 a.m. to 4:10 p.m.

 

Lancaster area schools

Elementary – 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Middle – 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

High – 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

Safety is a top priority at the Lancaster County School District! Lancaster County Schools will continue to institute a clear bag policy for home athletic and designated events. Spectators will be permitted to carry one clear bag (refer to flyer above). 

The Lancaster County School District has set up the See Something Say Something crime line to report school crime to make our schools safer. 

There are three ways you can report school crime:
