Rebecca Hammond

I have been at North Elementary for 11 years. I've served North in a variety of different roles including kindergarten teacher, first grade teacher, literacy coach and RTI coordinator.  I received my bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from Winthrop University in 2013. I graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a master's degree in Language, Literacy, and Culture in 2018. Teaching reading is my passion and I love learning new ways to help students grow as readers. I am so excited to be back in 1st grade and I look forward to an exciting year full of fun and learning! 

I live in Lancaster with my husband and our sons. We enjoy living in the community that we grew up in and are so excited that we get to give back to the community that we love! 

It's going to be a GREAT year at North Elementary!
