You and your student(s) are invited to attend September 7th starting @ 5:30pm for our Walk-a-Night event. Families officially meet teachers, experience the student's schedule by visiting each classroom in a mock-day, and learn important expectations and policies from each place you walk in the building.

All spectators entering a district home sporting event and other designated school events will be permitted to carry one large clear bag.
Families interested in purchasing the $30 Chromebook protection plan for this school year should do so by September 29, 2023. The fee can be paid by cash, check (please include your telephone number and driver license number on the check), or credit card (please come by the school to pay with a credit card). Cash or checks should be brought by the school library.
Families are also reminded that chromebooks should be charged each night so students arrive at school with a ready-to-use device.
Remember that students must be in homebase by 8:30am or the student will be considered tardy and have to be signed in to the office by an adult.
Any student needing early dismissal must be signed-out before 2:45pm. Any student needing to be dismissed after 2:45pm will need to wait until the end of the day at 3:30pm.
Also, when students are absent, families should send excuses with students on their next day of school.
Benchmark testing for English language arts and math will be held September 12th-13th.
Progress Reports will reflect grades in Powerschool as of Thursday, September 21st.

Promise Neighborhood Extended Day Program begins a journey later in September. Families can choose students' academic enrichment sessions and their 6 week fitness and exposure micro sessions. Students will be able to earn up to $75 dollars monthly. Healthy snacks and bus transportation included. If your child needs bus transportation, please sign up here no later than August 31st.
Heart & Sole girls run club activities will begin in the middle of September on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:30-5pm. Parents must register. Our season-ending 5K will be The GOTR 5K. It will take place in downtown Rock Hill on Saturday, December 2nd.
School picture day will be Wednesday, September 21st, 2023. Families can purchase packages online using this link.
Make-up pictures will be taken Thursday, November 9, 2023.

Water fountains are installed all around the building. Students can refill any bottle with a lid to use around the building to stay hydrated throughout the day.
The MUSC Vax Van is scheduled to return to the district September 27th and 28th. This provides students the opportunity to receive missing vaccines required for school attendance.
