Even as a very young child, I was drawing and painting in my high chair. My mom would buy paint sets by the case for my sister and me. My absolute favorite class in high school was art with my mentor  Mr. Vandiver, the art teacher. So what other goal could I have, but to become an artist. I’ve been fortunate to have sold many pictures, portraits, ceramics, and other art pieces. I was the art teacher at Chester Middle for six years, but I'm proud to have been a part of the Bruin Family for the last 6 years!

In my personal life, I’m the much-loved daughter of a retired teacher and merchant. I have an older sister and a younger brother. Most important, I’m married to the love of my life and have an amazing son and daughter.
