Meet the Teacher

This is my 12th year at Buford Middle School and my 8th year teaching 8th grade SC History.

I am a 2005 graduate of Winthrop University, with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Secondary Education. I also have a Master's in Instructional Accommodations from Francis Marion University.

I enjoy cooking, reading, and music outside of the classroom. I also love my Carolina Gamecocks and Notre Dame Fighting Irish! My husband and I have three pets- our German Shepherd, Heidi and our cats, Cricket and Piper. I also have an 11 year old step-son and we enjoy watching him play soccer.
