Good afternoon! I hope you have had a great week! We are continuing into our last weeks of the school year with only 5 weeks (or 22 full days and 2 half days) left before summer!
Thank you to everyone that participated in our Vehicle Day and in our All Pro Dad’s event. That helped us have a strong ending to our week!
We are still accepting donations or the PTO fund-raiswer cards. If you prefer, you can donate $60 to KES for half-time at the mega party or $120 for full time. If our school reaches its goal of $20,000, every child may attend the mega party for some amount of time. We are only $3000 away from this goal! Any help you can give is greatly appreciated.

Wednesday, May 1-Sir Purr will visit KES 3rd-5th graders to help us prepare for our upcoming state testing; Kona Ice will be at KES. (Remember, that we cannot accept Kona Ice money after 9am.)
Thurs-Fri, May 2-3–5th grade at Camp Thunderbird
Fri, May 3-5K goes to the zoo and 3rd grade goes to Barrier Island

Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up May 6-10, and our state testing will begin next week as well. In next week’s updates, we will send out specific ways to show your child’s teacher that you appreciate them, and we will send out ways to help support your students during testing week.
