  1. Q: "Does my student have to use PlanetHS for their sports paperwork? Can't I just turn in a hard copy of the physical exam?

A: Athletic directors will not accept hard copies of athletic paperwork. For extenuating circumstances, please reach out directly to your athletic director AT LEAST two weeks in advance of tryouts. Please do not wait until the last minute to create a PlanetHS account and begin uploading paperwork.

For all PlanetHS related questions, please refer to the "Athletic Forms" tab.

All student-athletes AND parents must create a PlanetHS account. These accounts must be linked to either Indian Land Middle School for all middle school offered sports or Indian Land High School for all high school offered sports. Please ensure that all paperwork is current for the school year.

  1. Q: "If my student plays a sport offered at the high school, do I have to drive them to practice?"

A: We do our absolute best to coordinate transportation from ILMS to ILHS for student-athletes. However, this is not a guarantee and parents may be asked to transport their students to practice/games at any given time.

  1. Q: "If my student plays a sport at the high school, will they be on a team with seniors? Does the team really have students ages 12-18?"

A: Middle school students are allowed to tryout for sports at the high school if the middle school does not offer that specific sport. For example, an ILMS 7th grader could tryout for the track team. If this 7th grader makes the track team, they will be training and competing with any other high school athlete that makes the team. The team could consist of student-athletes 7th grade through 12th grade.

  1. Q: "Which sports teams are co-ed?"
