Hello! My name is Kelly Steen. I grew up in Lancaster, SC and graduated from Lancaster High School in 1995. I attended College of Charleston where I received my BS in Physical Education with a concentration in Exercise Science. I am a Certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine. I am also a Certified EKG Technician. I live in Lancaster with my husband, Paul, and our three kids, Bailee, Gavin and Greer. I love spending time watching my kids with their many sports and extracurricular activities. We also love to attend USC Gamecock football games and enjoy going to the beach and being in/on the water. Previous to the Career Center I taught classes at USC Lancaster for 20 years. This is my fourth year teaching Health Science at the Career Center, and I am excited to have the opportunity to help students who have an interest in health care.

Health Science Pathway Sequence
Students must complete the Health Science courses in the following order:
Health Science 1- open to 10th-11th grade students; must have a 75 in this course to proceed in the pathway
Health Science 2
Medical Terminology
Health Science 4- This is an optional course that students may apply for entrance to in the spring of their Junior year.
