Physical Science Block 1

Course Description

Students explore basic chemistry and physics and prepare for future science courses.  Students will study the atom, chemical reactions, the periodic table, energy forms, machines and force. Students will complete lab work in most areas. Students will also review metric measurement and learn problem-solving skills with formulas. A solid background in math is necessary and outside help will be available through the teacher.
