COMPUTER PROGRAMMING 2

Course Description:

Computer Programming 2 will use Alice. This is an educational software that teaches students computer programming in a 3D environment. Students can create their own interactive stories, games, and animations. This course of study is designed to build and advance the fundamentals of computer programming. Topics include conditionals, abstraction, and debugging, lists, Internet and the global impact, algorithms and data, recursion and functional programming. Students will use Alice to develop the concepts with emphasis on conceptual understanding and reinforce programming skills. The blocks will snap together with other blocks to create a logically sequenced program.
