Hi! My name is Monica Barfield. I am one of the Computer Lab managers at ILES. This is my 23rd year at Indian Land Elementary School. I received my Bachelors of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Minor in Sociology and a Minor in Exercise Science at the University of South Carolina - Aiken. I received a softball scholarship to play softball for the Lady Pacers upon graduating from Indian Land High School. I am a native to Indian Land having lived in the community my entire life. This is one of the reasons why I love working at ILES!

This is my 5th year as the Head Varsity Softball Coach for Indian Land High School. I am also the Head Coach for a 14U travel team, the Carolina Angels. My husband Mark is my assistant coach for both teams and we are honored to be able to coach our daughter Kyleigh who is 14. We also have a son Wesley who is 20. In our time away from Indian Land we enjoy going to the the lake, the beach and cheering on the CLEMSON TIGERS!
