Hello Tomahawks! My name is Brandy Engel and I am the Literacy Coach at Harrisburg. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood from the University of South Carolina and received my Master's Degree in Divergent Learning. I obtained National Board Certification as an Early Childhood Generalist and renewed it in 2019. I taught for 15 years and was honored by our District as the 2015 Elementary Teacher of the Year.

I have a husband named Colby, two daughters, Zoey and Josie, and a Yorkie named Dakota. I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family and friends, and trying everything on the menu at Starbucks! I am a huge Gamecock fan and love going to football games! I'm looking forward to a great year!
