The purpose of our club is to promote pride and professionalism in our career area. Through club activities, we intend to bring recognition to our program and get more students involved. Our club will participate in automotive competitions as well as trips to automotive colleges. The club will also serve as a recruiting tool to attract new students to a possible career opportunity. The club will keep members in touch with the program even if they are not currently in an automotive class. I believe this will lead to better prepared completers from the Andrew Jackson High School Automotive Program.
All activities are voluntary and transportation, in most cases, will be each student’s responsibility. Most meetings will take place after school and some activities will take place on weekends.
