About Me

Hello,

My name is Avery Miles and I am excited to be teaching 8th grade science this year at Buford Middle School.  This will be my ninth year teaching and first at BMS.  I attended and graduated from Central High School in Pageland, SC.   I went on to attend  Francis Marion University in Florence, SC, to earn a bachelor's degree in Middle Level Education.   I was able to earn certification to teach middle level math and science for grades 5-8.  I am looking forward to getting to know all of my students and seeing them succeed in science this school year.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns (email is best).
