Our Team's Progress:
Building:
As of right now, our building team is building our robot to complete the tasks it needs to do at competition this year. We are working on building a launching mechanism to throw plastic balls into the goal which are called artifacts in the game. Our programming team has the robot driving, but is currently working on the program for our launching mechanism.
Our building team is also working on an elevator to carry the ball up, then throw it. The robot base is completely finished, and functioning well.
Programming:
The programming team has finished the code to operate the robot, but it has not been tested because the robot is not finished yet. Although the autonomous code is complete, it has not been tested yet.
Outreach:
The outreach team is currently working on planning a 2025 Dodge-ball Tournament at our school. On Halloween, we had a Hat Day Fundraiser where students paid $1 to wear a hat. Overall, we raised over $250 dollars from this event. At the moment we are also working on creating merchandise for our team.
