Classroom
Classes can held in the library. Consider using the library when:
more space is needed
change of scenery is needed
using additional resources to complete a project
Leisure
The reading corner is a space to leisurely read or listen to music if you need your own space. There is also an independent working table if you're looking for your own space to concentrate. The space is designed to be private and calm.
Makerspace
New this year!
The library is working on developing a makerspace. Materials and space are available for students to participate in and explore new activities.
The "How To" books are a center piece for this space and include books on how to cook, draw, take care of a pet, build your own inventions, origami, conduct your own experiments, and gaming.
Activities available now include puzzles, coloring and drawing, games, friendship bracelets, and origami.
Welcome Presentation for Classes
Each class will visit the library in September to become acquainted with the library, including procedures. They will be introduced to the library staff, the space and activities offered, the website, and have a chance to browse the collection. We look forward to welcoming everyone back at the beginning of each school year!
