Now more than ever, it is important to understand what it means to use material from the internet and what copyright infringement means. Basically, if you didn't make it, you can't use it without permission. This means you cannot take any photo from a Google search and use it in your project.
So how do we use pictures and other visuals in our projects?
You can use any online database or website that offers pictures free of copyright. Pay attention to what is asked because not all pictures are free. A few of them are listed below.
You can also use any picture you take because you are the creator of that content!
You can also use Google to help you find pictures by using Creative Commons. It is not usually necessary to have the owner's permission to use images in the Creative Commons. However, it is good practice to always check the source. They are a perfect alternative for any school-related project.

Click on Tools
Click on the drop-down menu under Usage Rights
Select the Creative Commons License
Click on an image to see more details and then click on "Visit" to check the source.
