Hi! I'm April. 

I started my career as an accountant and then switched gears to become a high school marketing teacher. During that time, I helped co-found, Reach and Teach, a nonprofit educational program that gives students the chance to find their passion and build their confidence. 

I've had the honor of sharing my passion for career exploration as a TEDx speaker, SXSW EDU Speaker, and Mentor. 

I've been married to my wonderful husband David for 19 years, and together we have two kiddos: Darby, a Brooks High School graduate, and Jesse, who’s in 9th grade at Rogers. We love traveling, baseball, and lazy days on the beautiful Tennessee River.
