Mrs Barbara Bell
I love my job as a school counselor working with Woodgrove students! Prior to being at WHS, I was a counselor at Stone Bridge High School and a teacher at Loudoun County High School. I am proud to have been involved with the We’re All Human group since its founding. I believe students are most successful when they are emotionally healthy. Drawing on various sources of strength helps to lead to emotional stability. I rely on running, family and a positive mentor or two to help me cope with day to day stress.
Mrs. Heidi Buckner
I have worked as a school psychologist in Loudoun County Public Schools for over 20 years. I have loved being a We're All Human club advisor for the past few years. My favorite part of the club is training club members and other students in the Sources of Strength program and assisting with the campaigns that spread the message of hope, help, and strength. In my spare time, I enjoy engaging healthy activities like running and biking. These healthy activities help me cope during times of stress.
Mrs. Amy Scott
Hi! I’m thrilled to be a part of the We’re All Human club this year. I joined Woodgrove High School’s school counseling team in November of 2017 and I’ve been so impressed by all that our school has to offer, and more specifically all of the ways in which We’re All Human connects with and supports the student body. I’ve enjoyed being a school counselor in Loudoun County since 2006, and a proud resident of Purcellville since 2012. In my free time, I love to spend time with friends and family, and I’m the mom of two baseball-loving sons. The Sources of Strength that I rely on most during times of stress include healthy activities, family support, and positive friends.
