NHS Food Drive with Loudoun Hunger Relief
Many families in Loudoun do not have enough food to eat because of the impact of Covid on the economy. From February through Spring Break, we will be working with Loudoun Hunger Relief to make donations to their food bank, where anyone in the community can come to get food at no cost.
Donations can be made in two ways:
Dropping off non-perishable food items (see lists below) at WHS, or the cluster schools listed below
Making on-line donations to Loudoun Hunger Relief (either monetary donations or having food items shipped directly to them via Amazon Smile (see directions below)
Food Drop-Off Process
Food items can be left in marked boxes at any of the participating schools:
WHS, Harmony MS, Mountain View ES, Round Hill ES, Waterford ES, Lovettsville ES, and Kenneth Culbert ES
Once a week, NHS volunteers will pick up these boxes, deliver them to LHR, and return the boxes to school (click here for volunteer sign up)

5. Canned meats (tuna or chicken)
6. Mac and Cheese
