Diverse Voices of the American Revolution
Diverse Voices of the American Revolution
The American Revolution not only created the United States of America, it set the path for all the people living within its boundaries in 1776. While today the American Revolution is often viewed through a patriotic, positive lens, it is crucial to acknowledge that there were diverse perspectives of the war. Individuals of different backgrounds experienced the American Revolution in vastly diverse ways, both due to where they placed their loyalties as well as circumstances outside of their control. This project aims to draw focus to the positive and negative ways the American Revolution affected the lives of a group of diverse individuals for both students and teachers.
