25. (Laith) We would like to share a poem with you.

25a (Natalie) It is entitled, “Take a Moment to Thank a Veteran,” by Joanna Fuchs.

26. (Lina) When you see someone in a uniform, someone who serves us all,

27. (Wilson) Doing military duty, answering their country’s call,

28. (Izzie) Take a moment to thank them, for protecting what you hold dear;

29. (Alysiah) Tell them you are proud of them; Make it very clear.

30. (Fatimah) Just tap them on the shoulder, Give a smile, and say,

31. (Cameron) "Thanks for what you’re doing; To keep us safe in the USA!"

32. (Ava) Our next song is called Those Who Served.

32a (Sarah) As we sing this song, we will be delivering letters to our Veterans.

32b (Curtis) Please stand once more if you are a Veteran so we may give you a letter.

40. (Tyler - after Thankful for the USA) Thank you for joining us today as we honor our veterans and share some of our country’s celebrations. We are proud of our veterans and our country. We are proud Americans!
