Report Card Info

Last week the first marking period of the year ended. I hope that you had an opportunity to meet with your child's teacher to open the door to communication and build the bridge between home and school so that your child has the best chance for success this year.

On Monday afternoon, report cards are available in ParentVue, just as we did last year.

If you haven't logged into ParentVue recently, please take a minute to log in. There is a "forgot password" feature that you can use for assistance. If you haven't requested access to ParentVue, please contact Pinebrook Elementary at 703-957-4325 or email Mrs. Valentin or Mrs. Wilhelm.

For Kindergarten parents, you will see that comments are the primary source of information on the report card for the first marking period of the year.

Here is a comment from the Art, Music and PE specialists that have worked with your children this quarter:

We have enjoyed meeting and working with the kindergarten students this 1st nine weeks. As part of our instruction, we have been evaluating their skill levels and begun instruction the basic skills needed for each discipline. Below you will find a link for each subject area. The links provide you with the Standards of Learning in each specialist area. We will be giving grades to your child beginning in the 2nd quarter.
