About Ms. Smink
Hello! I am very excited to be your teacher at Valley this year! We are going to have fun exploring various science topics through various activities, demonstrations, discussions, small group lectures, research, and projects! I would like to tell you a bit about myself, so we can better interact throughout the class.
I grew up in Maryland. In my free time I enjoy hiking, camping, reading, and going to the gym.
I received my Bachelors degree in Geoenvironmental Studies from Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania and my Masters degree in Teaching Secondary Science from Towson University in Maryland. I have taught Physical Science, Earth Science, Biology, AP Biology, Environmental Science, and IB Environmental Systems and Societies.
I am looking forward to sharing experiences and exploring our natural world with you!!
