Social Studies Teacher
Andrea Schlegel has been teaching for twenty-seven years and this is my thirteenth year as a member of the Pride. I graduated from Marshall High School in 1984 and then attended George Mason University where I received a B.A. in History in 1988. I obtained my M.Ed. in Secondary Education also at George Mason University in 1993. While working on my degree, I have acquired several teaching endorsements, which include: history and social studies 7-12, English 7-12, ESL K-12, and middle school 6-8. My teaching assignment for this year is US History, International Relations, History of Religion and World History 1
My interests include traveling, the weather (related to snow), watching Nationals games, reliving old Star Trek and Star Wars episodes, and of course, cheering for the 2018 STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS, THE WASHINGTON CAPITALS!!
