June 2023: Instagram Recap

May 2023: SOL Review Resources

May 2023: Teacher Appreciation Week Posters

Students from all grade levels signed posters to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week and wrote messages of appreciation for their teachers. The posters were delivered to each department on Friday, May 12th. Thank you for showing your appreciation!

April 2023: Spirit Points Competition - Second Place Winner

Riverside's Student Council Association hosted a spirit competition between all the classes for the 2022-23 school year, with the winners announced in April 2023! Classes won spirit points by participating in spirit days and other spirit and sporting events. Check out the finalized scores below. While the seniors won the spirit stick at the homecoming pep rally, thank you so much to everyone in the Class of 2026 for helping us win second as the freshman class during the 2022-23 school year. Congratulations to everyone, and thank you for showing your school spirit! Amazing job and go Rams!

March 2023: Capture the Leprechaun Week

Capture the Leprechaun Week was from March 14 to 17. Every day, we hid a leprechaun around the school. The first person who found the leprechaun for each day won $5 to the Ram Shack and 5 class points. Congratulations to all the winners, and thank you to everyone who participated and made the week not only successful but fun! Thank you for a great week of hunting for those sneaky leprechauns!

January to May 2023: Freshman Reading Challenge

The first-ever Freshman Reading Challenge took place during Quarters 3 and 4 in the 2022 - 2023 school year. The class with the most books read won a free Domino's pizza party sponsored by our class. Congratulations to our first-place winner, Ms. Dalebout's eighth block, our second-place winner, Mrs. Hartzler's fifth block, and our third-place winner, Ms. Hinko's third block! Congratulations to Samuel He for reading the highest number of books (29 books), Christine Hill for reading the second-highest number of books (23 books), and Katyayini Prasanna and Josie White for reading the third-highest number of books (18 books)! Thank you to everyone who participated and made this challenge a success. Way to go!

December 2022: Candy Canes & Cookies Fundraiser

We had a Candy Canes & Cookies fundraiser from December 5th to December 16th and are grateful to have raised over $100! Half of the proceeds benefited the Class of '26, and the other half was donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Congratulations to the winners of the raffle, and thank you to everyone who supported this fundraiser and to everyone who volunteered! Happy holidays!

November 2022: Instagram Profile Picture Design Contest

November 2022: Staff Potluck

The Class of 2026 hosted a breakfast potluck for Riverside staff on the morning of Tuesday, November 22nd. Thank you so much to everyone who helped volunteer and contributed items to make this event successful! We really appreciate your generosity and wish you a wonderful holiday season.

October 2022: Trunk or Treat

We represented the Class of 2026 on Wednesday, October 26th, for the annual Riverside Trunk or Treat! It was a fun-filled night spent with other clubs and trick-or-treaters.

October 2022: Kindness Cards

We worked with Mrs. Hartzler's fifth-block students to create cards to welcome her back and to thank Mrs. Rosinski and Mrs. Kristan for helping out during her absence.

Thank you for making this such a sweet project!

October 2022: Boo Grams

We sold seasonal boo grams from October 20th to October 25th and raised over $60 to help fund future class events! Boo grams included a note and a piece of candy, including Starbursts, Starburst Pops, Skittles, and Dum Dums. Boo grams were delivered on November 2nd during Advisory.
