Mission
The mission of the school library program is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information so as to empower them to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information.
Ms. Davis is excited to be part of the RBMS Library Team! She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from George Mason University and her Master of Science in Library and Information Science from The Catholic University of America. Ms. Davis is a DAR, CUA Library Professor, and an avid reader! Some of her favorite authors include Tamora Pierce, Garth Nix, and Neil Gaiman. If you need any recommendations, please stop by the library!
Mrs. Ulloa (pronounced oo-YO-ah) is excited to be a part of the River Bend library team! Mrs. Ulloa graduated from Boston College and then worked in Marketing for Walt Disney World. After starting a family, she switched professions and taught Theater Arts for a private school in Orlando, Florida, and later, English/Language Arts for Riverside High School in Leesburg, Virginia. Mrs. Ulloa then received her Master's in Library and Information Studies from Old Dominion University and absolutely loves being a middle school librarian! In her free time, Mrs. Ulloa enjoys reading, doing yoga, spoiling her pets, and watching sports!
