Beginning Theatre is the perfect introduction to the world of performance for students of all experience levels, especially those new to the stage! In this course, students explore the foundations of acting and storytelling through movement, voice, and imagination.
Through fun exercises, improvisation games, and scene work, students learn how to build believable characters, collaborate with others, and perform with confidence. Along the way, they’ll gain an understanding of stage terminology, theatre etiquette, and the creative process that brings a script to life.
By the end of the course, students will have performed in two showcases and built the essential skills needed to continue their theatre journey, both onstage and off.
