MERCER MIDDLE CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES:
Here at Mercer, Mountain Lions PROWL! Our PROWL program is a chance for our students to connect with peers, dig deeper in an area of interest, or expand their horizons. We are excited to offer the following selections for this club session.
Background information:
The Spring 2024 session of this school activity program will be held at the dates and times listed below. Each offering is unique and may have a regular schedule, or one that shifts based on sponsor availability. LCPS will provide activity bus transportation on most weekdays (see note below). Each activity being offered this session is listed alphabetically and includes a short description along with other information (sponsor, meeting schedule, registration fee, etc.).
Registration OPENS on Tuesday February 6, 2024.
Registration will end on Sunday February 11, 2024 at MIDNIGHT. However, if a club has already reached maximum capacity, the availability to register for that club may close.
Each club meeting schedule is unique to that club (REVIEW POSTED DATES BELOW!), but there are 10 hours worth of content and activity for each club available for interested students.
Students may only enroll in and attend up to THREE CLUBS!
There will be a general fee of $50 for enrollment in any club. Before registering for any offerings, know that all sales are final. There are NO REFUNDS. Please choose wisely and do your research.
Scholarships are available for students in need. Please reach out to Cathy Ghattas (Cathy.Ghattas@lcps.org) Family Liaison or your student's school counselor.
Families may register for clubs by clicking on the <REGISTER HERE> link under the chosen club picture ... during the active registration window (2/6/24-2/11/24).
When registering, please provide the STUDENT name for "Recipient" and put PARENT/GUARDIAN name as "Purchaser".
(AM Clubs) Parents should drop off students at the back of the building using our Kiss and Ride access. Students should enter the building through door C3; this includes Walkers.
(PM Clubs) LCPS Activity buses will run on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, but capacity is limited and parent pickup is encouraged.
Parents should pick up students at the back of the building using our Kiss and Ride access.
Please be advised that due to transportation constraints, buses may not depart the school until 5:00 PM or 5:15 PM. Students will be supervised after club dismissal, by sponsors and school administration.
Buses 2040 and 330 will be picking up students and dropping off regionally. They will not stop at every regular bus stop. Here is the list of stops these buses will make: Bus Stops
