MUSICAL RULES, REGULATIONS AND EXPECTATIONS
.) Students are expected to attend all rehearsals for which they are scheduled! Rehearsals will be scheduled Monday - Friday from 8:30 to 3:30PM. Some additional Saturday rehearsals or extended days may be necessary! If your child is involved in an activity that conflicts with our camp schedule, please contact kamryn.kirkpatrick@lcps.org prior to registering. Removal of a student from the show based on unplanned absences will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
.) Starting tech week (week leading up to show dates), ALL REHEARSALS will be MANDATORY. During tech week , we may need to extend rehearsals. Make sure you are checking emails/referencing the calendars to stay up to date.
.) All students are responsible for acquiring their own costumes. These must be approved by the musical staff. If not responsible, musical staff will clarify this thoroughly.
.) Students are expected to be on their best behavior at rehearsals and performances, and must treat all staff and other students with respect. Failure to do so will result in their removal from this production. This includes speaking negatively about the production or members of the cast/crew. It is essential to the success of our show that environments remain positive and kind.
.) When possible, we kindly ask that any conflicts be rescheduled around the rehearsal schedule. In case of emergency or last minute conflicts, we ask that you keep communication open!
.) Due to the nature of the program, casting changes will be more difficult to accommodate after June 15th. Open communication will be essential for resolving conflicts prior to this date.
.) More information can be found via the ERMS Mean Girls Jr. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. K at kamryn.kirkpatrick@lcps.org
