Carly is a 7th grader and excited to appear in her 3rd musical in middle school. She was Alice in Malida and Margot in Legally Blonde. Outside of musicals, Carly loves to sing and dance. She would like to thank the cast and crew for making this show awesome. Thank you to momma Edwards, momma Jo, and most of all Ms. Guenther. Raegan is an 8th grade and she is super excited to be in her 2nd musical here at Eagle Ridge! She was in the ensemble of Beauty in the Beast jr. over the summer in 2021. Outside of doing musicals, Raegan enjoys being the setter for her volleyball team. She would like to thank everyone who helped her throughout the past couple of months and especially her parents for driving her to and from rehearsal everyday! Lily is an 8th grader and is super excited to appear in her first musical role as the old lady in Madagascar jr! Before playing the old lady, Lily also starred in The War of The Worlds in 2020. Lily is so, so, thankful for all the hard work Ms. G, Mama Joe, Mama E, the creative crew, and the tech crew have put into this musical. Thank you! Akshana is a 6th grader, who is excited to be part of her first musical production at Eagle Ridge. She loves to do art and she loves to dance. This is her first time acting and she loves doing it. I'm Aniela, a 7th grader and this is my second play. I was a part of the behind the scenes for legally blonde as one of the creative crew. Besides the topic of theatre I'm learning guitar and I used to play cello, and I am a forward on a soccer field, so I'm always taking chances and communicating with my fellow buddies! I'm mostly always in a goofy mood, and I consider myself fun to be around. Thank you to all the people helping around in the play, and behind the scenes. It took a lot of work, but we are here. Saher Ahmad is currently a 7th grader at Eagle ridge middle school and is appearing in her third musical at Eagle ridge as Marty the Zebra in the musical: Madagascar A musical adventure Jr. She was in the ensemble of Matilda the Musical Jr. and Legally Blonde the Musical Jr. Off stage, Saher enjoys reading, singing, and drawing, as well as swimming. Manya is an 8th grader and is extremely thrilled to appear in her 4th musical here at Eagle Ridge. She was an ensemble in Beauty and the Beast Jr. in 2021, she was also an ensemble in Matilda Jr. in 2022, as well as playing the role of Kate in Legally Blonde Jr. summer 2022. Grace is in 8th grade and is psyched to be a part of her first musical at Eagle Ridge. In elementary school she was a part of after school theater camp and performed in Grease and in Ramona the Pest in her 3rd and 4th grade years. Grace is also plays bass with the 8th grade orchestra and plays soccer. Avery is a 6th grader and is excited to help out in her first musical at Eagle Ridge. She is part of the crew doing hair and makeup and likes to help out with costumes. She loves hanging out with family and friends, doing stuff like bike riding, and walking her 2 dogs named Winnie and Cleo. Although it is only Faun's 2nd year at ERMS, she is still as excited as she was when she started. She was a part of Creative crew and ensemble for Matilda Jr. and Legally Blonde Jr. respectively, and she is excited to be a part of another show! Faun plays the roles of a simple NYC tourist and a fearsome lemur, trained in the arts of being the local priest. Other than musicals and plays, Faun enjoys listening to music, playing board games/video games, drawing, math/science, falling down the random Wikipedia articles rabbithole, and much more. She would like to thank the producers, her fellow cast and crew members, the audience for coming, her family for supporting her, and especially Ms.G for being not just an awesome director and an absolutely fantastic dramatics teacher.
Lina is a 6th grader and she is very happy to be in her first musical at Eagle Ridge! Outside of school, Lina sings and writes stories, as well as figure skates. She also does musical theater and singing at StageCoach Theatre. She wants to thank the whole Madagascar team for making this musical a great experience for the cast, crew, directors, and everyone in the audience. Secondly, she wants to thank her voice teacher at StageCoach for helping her with her audition. Alison is a 7th grade student who was recruited for the Hair and Makeup Crew in the Madagascar musical. Alison has appeared as a creative crew member for the Legally Blonde musical as well, both musicals held at Eagle Ridge. Iso doesn't really like appearing on stage, so she would rather play a part in the crew than cast. She likes to draw daily and plays soccer, all while juggling with the weight of school.

Torrie is an 8th grader and thrilled to be apart of her first musical - EVER - at Eagle Ridge, starring as Melman the Germaphobe Giraffe. Torrie is a seprano singer who is an amazing actor, has a great sense of humor, and some... questionable dancing skills. When Torrie is not wowing the audience on stage, she's playing her French Horn, reading a great book, sewing and emoridering, or hanging out with her pet rabbit, Maple. Torrie wants to thank her family for their support, her teachers for putting up with her late assignments during show week, her friend Sophia for pushing her to explore theater and writing her bio, and of corse the awesome cast, crew, and directors of the show for being so amazing and encoureging her the whole way through.

Sophia is an 8th grader at Eagle Ridge Middle School and is so excited to be starring as Alex the Lion in Madagascar Jr. Sophia is proud to say that this is her 7th musical overall, and her 3rd musical at Eagle Ridge Middle School. She has played many roles over the years, from her first ever show in 4th grade (Peter Pan Jr., 2019) to performing in the show Anonymous at the annual Edinburgh Fringe Festival (The biggest performing arts festival in the WORLD) with Rock Ridge High School last summer. Through it all, she has helped every show come together by acting in the ensemble, playing big and small supporting roles, and being a part of the creative crew. Aside from acting, Sophia leads an extremely eventful life. She plays field hockey, is a black belt in taekwondo, and is a girl scout. She enjoys writing, reading, painting, playing her clarinet, creating and selling handmade jewelry, drinking coffee, and daydreaming about hedgehogs. Sophia is enormously grateful for her caring and supportive family and friends, as well as the amazing cast and crew members for helping this show come to life.
Olivia is an 8th grader and is ecstatic to play King Julian in her fourth play at Eagle Ridge. She played Babette in the musical Beauty and the Beast in 2020. She played Rudolpho in the musical Matilda in 2021. A year after that she then played Kyle and Dewey in Legally Blonde in 2022. Outside of performing, Olivia plays as an outside hitter in her volleyball team. She would also like to thank the directors, crew and cast for all the hard work they have put into the show.
Ava is a 7th grader excited to be in a play. She has never been in a play so everything is very exciting for her. She plays guitar, bakes, and swims in the summer. Alyssa Keltz is a 7th grader at Eagle Ridge Middle School and is appearing in her first middle school play. Alyssa plays a leading role as Rico the penguin. Outside of performing, Alyssa is a working actor and model and appears in many commercials and print adds. She also enjoys playing the guitar, piano, and ukulele. Alyssa would like to thank the directors, crew and her fellow cast mates too. She would also like to thank her little brother Georgie for all the help and support. Tran is a 7th grader, who is in crew. Last year (2022) Tran participated in costume crew during Matilda Jr, then during the short musicals she joined creative crew. Although it was great, she went back to Costume this year for Madagascar Jr (2023). Other then theater, she enjoys art, music and surprisingly P.E.

It was an honor to be a part of something so goofy, yet exciting. Secretly behind the scenes, she is the biggest cheerleader for every person in this musical.
Gayatri is a 7th grader and is beyond happy to be in Madagascar Jr! She discovered her love for theater in her first play in second grade (2018), Ramona The Pest, where she played as Mrs. Quimby. Later on, she attended many drama activities and camps. She was part of costume crew in Matilda the Musical Jr. in 2022. She had an amazing time and made so many friends! However, acting has always been her favorite part of theater. So this year (2023), Gayatri's playing Zookeeper Zelda in Madagascar Jr. But theater isn't the only thing she adores. She also takes many vocal classes for her love of singing and enjoys drawing as a pastime.
Gayatri will be forever grateful to be a part of this production, and all the people who made it possible. She will never forget all the support from her family and friends who helped her make it this far. Theater has not only been a moment to express and act on her passion, but an opportunity to meet new people and make friends. Gayatri wants everyone to know that if you follow your dreams and keep pushing forward, you can do great things!

Outside of performing, she is active playing field hockey and basketball. She has been playing field hockey since kindergarten, and currently plays year round for the Metro travel club. Sydney is a 7th Grader who aspires to see the workings of how it happened and when. Still a bit of a newbie when it comes to crew and sets, she sees each opportunity as a way to grow. Sydney constantly works on design and redesign to see how things best fit in her free time. Aside from art, she plays in band, writes novels and knows how to crack a good joke. Sydney is and will always be grateful for the time she spent with the Madagascar Jr. crew.
Autumn is a 7th grader at Eagle Ridge and is thrilled to be in Madagascar JR. Her first role at Eagle Ridge was Amanda Thripp in Matilda JR. She knew that her role in Madagascar would be a different experience from her past shows and she was so excited to try something new. Aside from theater, Autumn enjoys piano, skiing, ice skating, and water skiing. She also loves to sing along with the Eagle Ridge choir. Autumn would like to thank her amazing director/chorus teacher, Ms.G, and all of the parent volunteers who worked so hard to make this musical possible, as well as the outstanding cast and crew whose hard work and dedication helped this musical come to life.
Kelly is an 8th grader at Eagle Ridge. Kelly loves to sew her own clothes and hang out with my friends. She has won Three basketball championships in her 5 years of playing, She loves all things performance related like playing the cello and doing musicals. She has been a part of 4 musicals at Eagle Ridge Being a part of costume crew for Beauty And The Beast Jr. and matilda Jr. Kelly chose to become a part of the cast last year and was in ensamble for Legally Blonde Jr. and is thrilled to have a supporting role in her second musical. Elisabeth is a 7th Grader and is beyond excited for Madagascar JR! She has done many shows in the past and says this is one of her favorite musicals! Her most recent performances were Lion King Jr, as Rafiki, and she also did Matilda Jr last year at Eagle Ridge as part of the ensemble. Other than acting, Elisabeth does karate and loves singing, sketching, dancing, and writing! Elisabeth would love to thank her family for their love and support. Reece is a 6th grader and is excited to appear in her first musical. Outside of performing, Reece likes hanging out with her friends, riding horses, playing with her two dogs ( Great Dane and French Bulldog) and helping others through her non-profit charity (Team Reece) which has raised over $500,000 for charitable causes including Shriners Hospitals for Children.
Chaske Templeton is a 6th grade student who enjoys science, sushi, and books. Born in Amman, Jordan, he has also lived in England and the United Arab Emirates and moved back to the United States in July. He has a younger sister who loves musical theater, but he prefers to work backstage. Good luck to the Madagascar cast and crew!
Via is in 8th grade and ready to perform her second musical at Eagle Ridge! Via has performed as Paulette in Legally Blonde Jr. in the summer of 2022 and this year she will be playing Candy Hammernose. Via also participated in All District Chorus for two years and is proudly in the Chorus Department. In her free time, she enjoys producing original songs and plays base guitar in her band. Eileen is a 7th grader who recently played Marta von Trapp in the Sound of Music with prince William Little Theatre at the Hilton performing arts center. Last year, she appeared as Lavender in Matilda, Junior. She also performed in Grease, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory , and Romana the Pest. Eileen was selected to the All district Chorus and the 6th Grade all Loudoun County Chorus. Eileen Loves singing with the ERMS Chorus, playing Field Hockey with PFH , and dancing Hip Hop. Eileen hopes everyone will enjoy the show along with thanking her directors for the amazing progress along the way and how much they have done.

When not working on theatrical productions, Ariel likes to spend time with her family, reading under a warm blanket, and drinking warm cups of mint tea. Cal is in 8th grade and is excited to work on the tech team once again. They have done tech for other shows including Matilda at ERMS, Lion King Jr. at RRHS, and Newsies! at Capital One Hall for the Reston Community Players. When they are not in the theater, Cal enjoys playing video games, reading, and watching musicals including enjoying shows at the Kennedy Center. They're looking forward to more tech theater at Rock Ridge High School next year. Hi! My name is Kate and I am so excited to be in this play! I play soccer, I love to bake, and I want to be in the tech crew for years to come. Okyanus is a 6th grader who can't wait to be in his first musical. He is in the tech crew and is doing the spotlight. He likes playing the trumpet and playing on his Nintendo Switch and PS5. Some of his favorite games are The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Uncharted.
