Any individual who participates in a theatre production with the Lionheart Players must adhere to the terms set forth in this contract. Any cast/crew member who does not adhere to each numbered term set forth is subject to dismissal from the cast/crew.
Cast/Crew members must be present for all scheduled rehearsals. Rehearsal schedules are made available at the beginning of every month on the bulletin board outside the cafeteria and on the Lionheart Players website. Starting and ending times are noted for each scheduled rehearsal. Because advance notice is given for scheduled Saturday rehearsals, all cast/crew members must be present. Not every cast/crew member will be called for every rehearsal, so both parent/guardian and student need to be checking the rehearsal calendar either on this website or on the bulletin board outside the cafeteria. Schedule subject to change do to change in school calendar, school closure, inclement weather, or as needed.
It is the responsibly of the parent or guardian to arrange transportation prior to scheduled rehearsal and should be prompt when picking up their cast/crew member.
Cast/Crew members are permitted to miss four (4) scheduled rehearsals, but are expected notify the directors ASAP prior to the missed rehearsal and are to get any notes from the missed rehearsal before next rehearsal. When a cast/crew member exceeds his/her limit of absences, he/she may be dismissed from the production. The directors reserve the right to judge special cases - extended illnesses, death in the family, or other extenuating circumstances.
Each cast/crew member must follow all requirements of the Code of Conduct laid out in the JML Handbook. You are responsible for familiarizing yourself with these expectations. Participation in a Lionheart Players production is an extra-curricular activity. At no time does the musical take priority over your grades. All production participants must maintain good grades throughout the duration of rehearsals and performance.
Since participation in a Lionheart Players production is a privilege, not a right, you are expected to conduct yourself in a respectful and kind manner. You are expected to be cooperative with your peers and the adults with whom you work. You are expected to give of your talents and energy so we can all reach our desired goal of the BEST production of which we are capable. Take pride in all you do!
Cell phones are to be away for all cast/crew members for the duration of the rehearsal. The directors reserve the right to judge special cases
The directors reserve the right to dismiss anyone from the cast for reasons of insubordination, lack of cooperation with peers or adults, and any disrespect he/she may show to anyone involved in the production.
