What do I need to bring to Band Camp each day?

• Instrument and any accessories

• Music

• Cell Phone (For Ultimate Drill Book)

• Water

• Sunscreen

• Athletic Clothing and Sneakers (No Flip Flops or Crocs)

• Lunch

• Snack for breaks 

• A Great Attitude!

Marching Specific Instruments

Students who play larger instruments will be given a school owned instrument to use for the marching season. This also includes marching specific instruments, such as baritone, mellophone, and contras. 

NOTE: Lightridge High School is a Drum-Corps style marching band, meaning that if you play trombone, you will march baritone. This also applies to french horn and mellophone, as well as tubas and contras. 

If your child is a double reed player (oboe or bassoon) they will be able to designate a secondary instrument to play during the marching band season. Please reach out to Mr. Phillip if you have questions or concerns regarding Marching Specific Instruments!
