Camp Information

How does this camp work?

There are 3 separate camps you can be a part of!

The first camp is creative crew (week 1), the second camp offered is cast/acting camp (weeks 2-3), and the third camp is tech camp (week 3). Please read below for more details and for the cost of each camp. Depending on what you're interested in and what you audition/interview for, you'll be a part of either one of those camps!

What's the cost of camp?

Note: if you are a part of Creative and Tech Crew, the cost is $450 for the two weeks.

Who can audition?

Anyone in the ERMS school pyramid.

In the 2021-2022 school year, if you are a 5-8th grader, you are allowed to audition for this show.

What's the audition process?

Check the audition materials page for more information on how to prepare your materials.

Auditions will be submitted digitally and are due by midnight, May 20.

Please prepare 3 separate videos to submit to the links at the bottom of the "Audition Materials" page.

Make sure your full name is in the title of the file along with what the video contains.

What is the interview process for creative crew? (Week 1)

We will accept 15 people for creative crew.

What is the interview process for tech crew? (Week 3)

We are looking for 20 students for the 3rd week of tech crew.

Please fill out this google form as an online interview process!

If you are selected, we'll send you/ your parents/guardians an email with the payment portal link.

What are the hours of camp?

Creative Crew Camp

8:30am - 9am

Daily drop-off window

Pick Up

Acting/ Tech Crew Camp*

8:30am - 9am

Daily drop-off window

3:30pm

Camp officially ends for the day and students may be picked up

3:30pm - 5pm

Musical viewing and talk-back workshops

All students must be picked up by 5pm

*Please make sure to keep your calendars open especially during show days

Is lunch provided?

No. Students will need to bring their own lunch to camp every day.

Will there be any meetings before the official start date of camp?

Yes! We plan on meeting virtually each week leading up to the start of camp to run through the show. A calendar will be posted to this website and links will be sent out via email. Make sure to have your books and a pencil/highlighter with you at each virtual meeting and during camp!

How flexible should my schedule be during the 3 weeks of camp?

As open as possible! We may need to take time for extra rehearsals and even come in on weekends if necessary. While this is (of course!) a fun camp, we also want you to get the most out of the experience of putting a musical together. This can mean taking extra time to rehearse and make magic happen!
