Pre-International Baccalaureate (Pre-IB) opens to students in the 2022-23 school year

A new high school program is being offered in LCPS. The Pre-International Baccalaureate (Pre-IB) opens to students in the 2022-23 school year for freshmen and sophomores. LCPS (Pre-IB) candidate schools will be housed at Heritage High School and Loudoun Valley. As future Loudoun County High School Students, Simpson students would attend the Heritage Cluster Program. It is a four-year commitment to a rigorous education program for the Diploma Programme.

Current eighth grade students interested in attending the high school program should go to the Student Opportunities Portal in LCPSGO during the open window and select "submit interest". The window opens Dec. 1, 2022 and closes Jan. 31, 2023.
