About Me

I am originally from Pittsburgh, PA but have been in Northern Virginia for 17 years now. I started teaching when Heritage opened and have been a member of the Pride ever since!

I have a B.S. in Meteorology from Millersville University of PA, an M.S. in K-12 Administration from Shenandoah University, and an M.S. in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Denver.

I have a split position, working as the GIS Lead Teacher for LCPS on A days and teaching at Heritage on B days (Earth Science and Geospatial Science). As the GIS Lead Teacher for the county, I oversee the Geospatial Science course (dual-enrollment with James Madison University) and help integrate Geospatial Technology into the K-12 curriculum.
