Summer Assignments

Most courses do not have a summer assignment. All students are encouraged to read independently.

 HHS summer assignments are designed to give students a taste of the curriculum in the upcoming course. The summer assignment will be reviewed within the first two weeks of school in your assigned English class. However, the beginning of senior year can feel stressful with the additional work of college applications, so this is provided to give you the time to review the assignment and enter with one less task to complete.
