Prom is Friday, April 29th.
How much is Prom?
One Prom ticket will cost $85 or you can raise $150 to St. Jude's Hospital and earn a free ticket and parking pass. The links for payment are available on this website under Payment/Donation Methods starting March 14th. Prom tickets will raise in price starting April 19th to $100.
What should I bring to Prom?
In order to get into Prom, you must bring your student ID (or valid Virginia ID such as drivers license/driver's permit) and Prom ticket. Remember, LCPS dress code is still enforced.
When can I buy a ticket?
Tickets are available March 14th through April 26th for $85. Each ticket is $85. However, following April 19th,tickets will be sold at an increased price of $100.
Where do I park?
Free parking will be provided at Freedom High School, with shuttle buses in rotation towards the Bellevue and back to FHS. These buses will run every 15 minutes starting at 7:30 pm. The last bus to the Bellevue will leave at 9:45pm. You may not enter prom after 10:00 pm.
If you raise $150 to St. Judes, you will receive a parking spot at the Bellevue. Please note that all students should park at Freedom High School unless they have paid for a parking pass.
What Time does Prom start/finish?
Prom will begin at 8:00pm and end at 11:30pm. The doors will close at 10:00pm and no one will be allowed in the Bellevue past that time.
Will there be food/drinks at Prom?
Yes, there will be complimentary beverages and dessert bar available.
What if the student is on reduced lunch?
If the student is on reduced lunch, the prom ticket can be paid for by the school. Make sure to contact the student counselor for more information.
What if my date is a Sophomore from another school?
In this case, they have to fill out both the guest and Sophomore permission forms.
How do I buy my ticket?
The link to purchase your ticket is available on this website under Payment/Donation Methods. After the ticket is paid for, turn in your permission form to a class officer during lunch to receive your ticket.
Do I leave school early for Prom?
Yes, there will be early dismissal for students attending Prom as long as they have a verified absence reported by a parent. This absence may be verified through a parent note or through ParentVue. We ask that this paperwork be completed by Wednesday April 27th. Attendance to first block, second block, and the pep rally is mandatory for students attending prom. The pep rally will end around 12:30 and students will be dismissed. Please have all dismissals for after 12:30pm.
What if I come in late to school on Friday, April 29th? Can I still go to Prom?
All students who wish to leave at 12:30pm for prom must be in school before 9:30am. If a student arrives after 9:30am or leaves earlier than 12:30pm they must be accompanied by a doctors note.
Can I bring an underclassmen as a guest?
Yes, however, you can only bring a Sophomore as a guest. They must enter and leave with their guest. Freshmen will not be allowed at Prom. There is a separate permission form the Sophomore guest must fill out.
Can I bring a guest from another school to Prom?
Yes, you can bring a guest from another school to Prom, however, they must fill out a guest permission form, and be under the age of 21. They also must bring their ID.
Do I have to wear a mask to Prom?
The mask mandate for Prom will be in line with the Loudoun County guidelines at the time of the dance. As of now, masks are not required to go to Prom, but it is subject to change.
What activities will there be at Prom?
Alongside dancing and socializing, there will be a photo booth and mock casino games available for students to play.
