The National Honor Society (NHS), founded by Dr. Edward Rynearson in 1921, promotes scholarship, service, leadership, and character among students. With the support of the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), NHS has grown into a nationwide organization, now encompassing over 16,000 chapters. 

As NHS enters its second century, it continues to foster excellence, inspiring students to contribute to their communities and schools.
