Nicole Babb is in 8th grade and playing Miss Esther Sherman in River Bend's production of Fame JR! Nicole enjoys singing, dancing, and being with family and friends. She has always loved performing since she was a little girl. Nicole has been in productions such as Willy Wonka, Shrek JR, 146 Point Flame, and Beauty and the Beast JR. She would like to thank Mr. Simonton, Ms. Binger, and Ms. Dober for all of their hard work and patience to make the show possible during the pandemic. She would also like to congratulate the cast for doing so much and making this experience so enjoyable.
Emma Bogoslov plays a music student in the musical. She plays saxophone and is always jamming out to jazz. She loves Hamilton, Marry Poppins, and all Disney! She has played in a kindergarten, second grade, and 4th grade plays. She likes to play sports, play her saxophone, and hangout with friends. She is a 6th grader and loves her school already. It's been a long journey for Trent in the River Bend Theatre Department. From playing Gingy in Shrek JR, playing Cogsworth in Beauty and The Beast JR, all the way to the role I play now, Nick Piazza. He is happy to be where he is today, all the friends has has made and the great experiences he has had. They are great blessings for him. Outside theatre, Trent likes to fence, play chess, and hang out with his friends.
Prajeet Chitty is a 7th grader who loves theatre. This year, he is playing the role of Joe Vegas in RBMS's production of Fame JR. Prajeet has always had a love for acting and stage performances. He was also in RBMS's productions of Beauty and the Beast JR and The Internet is Distract-Oh Look a Kitten! where he played Chip and Google. Prajeet is also a drummer and has been drumming ever since he was 6. He really enjoys RBMS's theatre community, and he can't wait to do more shows! He would like to thank the cast, crew, teachers, and his family for all of their support.
Camille Ciambruschini is a 7th grader who is playing Mabel Washington in Fame Jr! Last year, you may have seen her as Babette in Beauty and the Beast JR put on by RBMS. Camille has been performing her entire life. She stepped on the stage at the age of 7 with Lopez Studios Inc! Some productions she has done are Once on This Island JR, Aladdin JR, The Lion King JR, and Beauty and the Beast JR (twice)! She also plays travel volleyball which is another of her passions! Camille would love to thank Mr. Simonton, Ms. Binger, and Mrs. Dober for all of their help and guidance throughout the show! Lastly, she would like to thank her friends and family for all of their love, support, and snacks!
Charles is ecstatic to perform as Tyrone Jackson in his second musical at River Bend. He also appeared in Beauty and the Beast JR, as well as The Internet is Distract-OH LOOK A KITTEN! Outside of performing Charles is also an astonishing athlete that plays football on the Cowboys for LLBFL and also runs track for NVA track team. Charles started his acting career at just the age of 8 when he did his first performance in the 3rd grade. After that, he just couldn't stop acting and tried to audition for other shows. This summer he will be attending Traveling Players and other big acting camps. Next year he will be attending Potomac Falls High School and will continue his acting career. His is very honored be to apart in this great performance that has been in the making for a very long time. He would like to give thanks his family, the cast, tech crew, teachers, his resource class, and everyone that supported him in this journey.
Zoe is excited to appear in her second musical at River Bend. She was in the ensemble in last year's performance of Beauty and the Beast Jr., as well as playing June and Shirley-Ann in the recent production of 6ft Scenes. Outside of performing, Zoe is the goalie for her travel soccer team and also plays piano. She would like to thank the cast and crew for all of their hard work in putting this production together. She also wants to thank her family for all of their love and support.
Katie Gross has grown from a shy little girl into an outgoing actor, as this is her third performance at River Bend Middle School. She was in the ensemble in Beauty and the Beast JR and played Cara-Sue and Fabrice in 6ft Scenes earlier this month. She also dabbles in art, music and archery. She is very excited for Fame and is very thankful for the cast, crew and staff who made the show possible.
Faith Humper has loved to act, dance and sing ever since she was 5 years old. She became a cheerleader in 4th grade and she entered Girl Scouts in 3rd grade, but ended up quitting both in 5th grade. She figured out she wanted to become an actress this year and decided to join the musical. At first she was shy, but ended having some faith in herself. She would love to say thanks to her family, friends, and the drama teachers for the love and support!
Julia is a 6th grader at River Bend. She joined the cast of Fame JR this year, but moved out of the area before she could perform for you. Mr. Simonton would like to thank her for all of her hard work and commitment to the show, even after she found out she wouldn't be here to appear on stage.
Ella Kane is extremely excited to be able to perform as Girl 3 in RBMS's production of Fame JR! You might have seen Ella as a villager in Beauty and the Beast JR, or as Rafiki 3 in Lion King Kids. Outside of theatre, you can find Ella drawing, painting, hanging out with friends and family, girl scouting, singing or just being a total goofball. She would like to thank the entire cast and crew for their amazing work on the show!
Jeremy LaFrancois is an avid performer, he can be recognized as his roles in Shrek JR as Knight #3, in Beauty and the Beast JR as part of the ensemble, The Internet is Distract-OH LOOK A KITTEN! as Wikipedia Contributor, 6ft Scenes as Tyler and #2, and his final role at River Bend is in Fame JR as Schlomo Metzenbaum. Outside of theatre you can find him at Boy Scouts. He is a part of Troop 956 and has reached the rank of the Life Scout. You can also find him hanging out with friends or watching, you guessed it, more theatre.
Ava Lesser plays a dancer in the musical Fame Jr. She is pretty new to acting but did play apart in her 5th grade musical, Aristocats. She loves musicals and acting, and also loves Hamilton and Six The Musical. She also loves and is passionate for playing percussion.
Sofia Lupas is relatively new to the voluntary acting world, only being in the play 6ft Scenes, and her most recent role in Fame JR!, as Music Student 3. Outside of the theatre world, you can see her at many clubs, including Raven Choir, Drama Club, and Advanced Math. She also does activities like Taekwondo and Soccer. She thanks everyone who made this musical possible!
After a year of uncertainty, Avery's so glad to be back on stage and finishing her RBMS experience with the production of FAME JR! Playing the part of Iris Kelly is special for her because she has spent many years dedicated to competitive dance. Performing is something she is very passionate about and Avery's previous roles include the Mad Hatter in Shrek JR, Lumiere in Beauty and The Beast JR, and most recently, Netflix in The Internet is a Distract-OH LOOK A KITTEN! This is all thanks to Mr. Simonton who helped her discover just how much she loves theatre! Mr. Simonton has made an exceptional community and she's very grateful for how much he helped develop her skills! She would also like to thank her theatre family (cast and crew, Mrs. Binger, Mrs. Dober and of course Mr. C) for a crazy, but wonderful, ride! This night will LIVE FOREVER... in FAME!!!
Jordyn has been on the stage since the age of 2. She absolutely loves dancing and performing in general. She feels so fortunate to have a small part in the Fame Jr. production. As a rising 6th grader, she can't thank Mr. Simonton enough for this opportunity!
Lina has always loved being on stage. Her first performance was in second grade and after that she knew that she loved musicals and every aspect of performing. She has been in several other performances after that such as Lion King Kids as Zazu, Beauty and the Beast JR as a villager, The Internet is Distract-OH LOOK A KITTEN! as Wikipedia and HBO. This year she was There and Mayville in 6 ft Scenes. Now she is Mr. Myers, a quirky acting teaching in the production of Fame JR! Lina wants to thank her family, friends, and of course, she wants to thank the cast of Fame JR, the tech crew, and she can't forget Mr. Simonton, Ms. Binger, and Mrs. Dober for making this show possible. She loves acting and hopes to do more musicals and plays next year!
Keelin is a 6th grader and is excited to appear in her first performance as an acting student in the ensemble. She plays travel softball and is currently on the River Bend softball team. Izzie Reuter is a 7th grader who is playing the part of Girl 2 in RBMS's production of Fame JR! You might have seen her as a plate in the ensemble in Beauty and the Beast JR or as a paper airplane dancer in A Kid's Life. Izzie has loved singing and performing from a very young age. She has really enjoyed being able to participate in the musical this year, and wants to thank everyone who helped make the musical possible.
Rumaysa has always watched movies and television shows ever since she was 2 years old but was really shy she never even talk to her friends or anyone except for her mom and her brother no one else not her family she was super shy when she wet to 4th grade she met people who had in common and for a long time she was the class clown and the one where she used to make people laugh but i did love to sing at a young age. She always enjoyed the art and everything about it, but she is more of a fan of cartoons, but also loves movies a lot too. When she was in 4th grade her brother came to River Bend Middle School and met a lot of friends. She thought he was just joking with her until he started telling my family about drama club and one acts. She was super pumped and really wanted to go there, but couldn't because she was still in 4th grade. When she started 6th grade at Riverbend and she was even more pumped. That year she started playing games like bus stop. That's when she noticed that she wanted to express something else too. She loved art a lot, but never experienced something where people could connect so much and have fun just like your friends. In 6th grade she was scared, nervous, and super shy, and she had a lot of work and ended up dropping out of stuff to focus on her grades. One thing you may see is that she wears scarf, because it's part of her culture. She is now in 7th grade and hopes to meet people and be in more musicals in the future.
Mason's love for acting started at a young age when he was introduced to Spider-man. He has performed in numerous productions including The Addams Family, Newsies, Hairspray JR, SNL, The Descendants, Shrek JR, and Beauty and the Beast JR. Mason enjoys reading comic books, playing lacrosse, and spending time with family and friends. As an eighth grader this year, Mason would like to thank Mr. Simonton for making the past three years such a memorable and enjoyable experience.
Akshay loves to play hockey, act, and play the piano. He has a dog named Cheerio and he loves to play with him. He has one older sibling named Arjun. Akshay would love to participate in the upcoming musicals including this year.
Rachel Sigler is a 7th grader at River Bend Middle School who is playing the role of Serena Katz in this production of Fame JR! You might have seen her as a spoon in the ensemble in Beauty and the Beast JR, as You in 6ft Scenes, and as Shenzi in The Lion King Kids. Rachel loves to sing and has been passionate about it ever since her mom enrolled her in the kids choir at her church . Outside of theatre, you can find her playing the flute, singing, dancing, studying, being a nerd, girl scouting, hanging out with friends and family, rocking out to 80s music, and, of course, reading. She would like to thank her family and friends for being very supportive of her weirdness. Lastly, she wants to thank the entire cast and crew for making the show possible.
Ella is excited to be performing in Fame JR with River Bend Middle School. She has been performing on stage since age seven, including some of her most recent roles with RBMS including performances in 6ft Scenes, and The Internet is Distract-OH LOOK A KITTEN! In her last live performance with RBMS she played Silly Girl #1 in Beauty and the Beast JR. She has also performed as Anna in Frozen JR, Mushu, in Disney’s Mulan JR, and Wendy in Peter Pan and the Lost Kids.
Recently Ella was lucky enough to be vocally trained by Judy McLane of Broadway’s Mama Mia; and is currently enrolled in acting lessons with Karlah Louis. Her acting troupe from Lopez Studios also took home the Freddie G Award for Excellence in Ensemble Work in the January 2019 Junior Theatre Festival (JTF) Division competition in Atlanta, GA. When she’s not performing, Ella enjoys spending time with her friends, and cooking.

Aubry Travis has been dancing on stage since she was seven years old with the Ashburn Academy of Dance. She is going on her third year with their competition team which took first place last year DanceMakers in Pittsburgh. She is a 6th grader at River Bend and this is her on stage debut as an actress. When she is not performing Aubry likes to spend time drawing, hanging out with friends, and playing with her pets (2 dogs, 2 cats and a snake). Additionally she is also a huge K-Pop fan. Aubry would like to thank Mr. Simonton, Ms. Binger, and Mrs. Dober for still moving forward with the musical despite all the unknowns this year as well as their support and guidance! She has especially enjoyed getting to know her fellow castmembers. Aubry is so thankful to her friends and family for always being there for her and cheering her on.
Isabelle Ventura has loved performing in theatre ever since she started middle school. She is a 7th grader and this is her second year being part of theatre at River Bend, and she can be recognized as being part of the ensemble in Beauty and the Beast JR, as Mom in The Internet is Distract-OH LOOK A KITTEN!, and as Carmen Diaz in this year's production of Fame JR. Isabelle is an active member of the children and youth choir at Our Lady Queen of the Americas Catholic church in Washington, DC since the age of 5. Outside of school, you can find Isabelle playing the piano, spending time with family, blasting Backstreet Boys music, and playing with her new puppy Duke. Isabelle is honored to play Carmen, and is very excited for this year's performance. Isabelle would like to thank her family, Mr. Simonton, Ms. Binger, and Ms. Dober for their support and guidance!
Karis has loved singing ever since she was young. She loves watching musicals shows and performing in them. Karis is a 8th grader and has been doing theatre for a year. Outside of performing and singing Karis enjoys spending time with animals, watching movies, playing lacrosse and painting.
Lydia loves singing and dancing. She also loves acting and performing on stage. She has also been playing piano since she was five years old. Her interests include drawing, playing with her dog Cooper, reading, and baking. She is a 6th grader currently at River Bend Middle School.
