Ms. Guenther is beyond excited for her fifth show at Eagle Ridge! In 2021, she moved from Wilmington, NC where she taught Chorus for 6 years. She was a part of a fantastic music and arts department at Murray MS and helped produce: The Lion King JR, Shrek JR, Madagascar JR, Mary Poppins JR, and Moana JR. At Eagle, she's been a part of Matilda JR, Legally Blonde JR, Madagascar JR, and The Music Man JR! It's been such a pleasure to work with everyone on this musical! <3

Mrs. Broadfoot has been choreographing musicals at Eagle Ridge for the past 5 years and is in her 16th year teaching Algebra and Geometry. Mrs. Broadfoot has previously choreographed The Addams Family Jr., Shrek Jr., Annie Jr., Beauty and Beast Jr., Matilda Jr. and Legally Blonde Jr. for the Eagle Ridge Theatre program. Mrs. Broadfoot earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Dance from the George Washington University and American University. She continues to dance and perform annually in the Nutcracker Ballet and Contemporary Dance Productions.
Mrs. Walden was introduced to the ERMS theater program many years ago as a parent volunteer with The Wizard of Oz Jr and Elf Jr . She loved the energy, excitement, and challenge of bringing the world envisioned by the director to life through sets and props designed, built, painted, and completed (almost entirely) by middle schoolers. Mrs. Walden has since led the creative crew for (most recently) Legally Blonde JR, and Madagascar Jr., and The Music Man Jr. She is continually amazed by the talent, creativity and passion of the entire ERMS theater family. Mrs. Walden would like to thank Ms. Guenther, Ms. K, and Mr. Simonton for being a fantastic team! Also special thanks to each member of the Creative Crew for being lots of fun even when faced with challenges. Break a leg to the cast and crew!
Mr. Simonton teaches Exploratory Dramatics and Tech Ed at River Bend Middle School. He has been the director of River Bend Theatre for the past nine years. He works at Eagle Ridge with Ms. Guenther as co-director and tech director for Eagle Ridge musical productions and has recently worked as technical director for Potomac Falls Drama.
Ana is a 7th grader and is thrilled to appear in her second musical at Eagle Ridge. She was in the ensemble for Music Man Jr. in 2023, She enjoys writing and drawing in her free time and also is an advocate for the double bass to be more well loved. She would like to thank the cast, crew, and directors for making this production possible. She would like to thank her family and friends, both in real life and digital, for keeping her sane throughout the production.
My name is Pooja and I am a 7th grader at Eagle Ridge Middle School and I am excited to be in my second musical at Eagle Ridge Middle School. I was a Makeup Crew in the Madagascar play last year and this year we are doing high school musical for our play this year and I am costume crew. Outside of performing I do tennis. I am so excited for this play cause it is my fav movie and I am thankful for Mrs. G and Mrs. K to put the show together. I would like to thank my friends and family for helping me to do this play and love and supporting me to go trough this journey of doing plays and I will definitely keep on doing plays.
Charisse is a 6th grader who can't wait to be a part of her first musical at Eagle Ridge. She has never been in a musical before and is part of the Creative crew and Tech crew. She had a fun time painting the sets and watching the musical slowly come together and she is excited to see the final result. She is thankful for her parents for allowing her to participate in the musical and to the rest of the cast and crew for all their time and effort.
Avery is an 7th grader and is excited to be in her second musical at Eagle Ridge Middle School. She was in the crew of Madagascar Jr. in 2023, this year she will be in the ensemble of High School Musical Jr.. Outside of performing Avery loves to hang out with friends and swim non competitively. She would like to thank the cast, crew, and directors for all of their hard work in putting this production together. Jasmine is a 7th grader and is excited to appear in her second musical at Eagle Ridge! She was ensemble of Madagascar jr. last year. Lillian is a 6th grader who is excited to be part of her second theatrical production. She works on the Creative Crew to paint sets and create High School Musical. Outside of the theater, she enjoys reading, art and technology. She will definitely be on crew for next musical!
Clara is an 8th grader and super glad to be part of this year's production. Although she may not shine onstage, she truly enjoys what she does behind the scenes. Painting and writing are her passions! She's excited to take part in drama productions in high school, but knows she's doing it with her best friends at her side!
Malia Chaparro is an 8th grader who is so excited to be playing Kelsi Nielsen! She is so happy to be in her 5th show at Eagle Ridge. She previously played Chip in Beauty and the Beast JR, a lead dancer in Madagascar JR, Zaneeta in the Music Man JR, and was part of the ensemble in Matilda JR. When Malia isn't performing, she likes baking and fashion. She would like to thank everybody who supported her, especially her sister vivien!
Clara is a sixth grader and is so excited to be in the musical that was eight year-old her! She loves spending her time with her friends, listening to music, and baking! Music is basically Clara's life, it would take over 24 hours to listen all of her favorite songs! She would love to thank the cast, crew, and directors. But most of all, she would like to thank her family, and two best friends, Mallory and Dia. All these people have always supported me, thank you so much!
Mallory is in 6th grade and this is her first musical she's been in! She is very excited to perform and honored to be Susan! She plays defense on her travel soccer team, and enjoys hanging out with her friends, acting, and singing in her free time. She would like to thank her family and friends. Rohan is a rising 8th grader, excited to take part in his 3rd musical here at Eagle Ridge! He previously played Private in Madagascar JR, played Winthrop Paroo in The Music Man JR, and is now playing Ryan Evans in High School Musical JR. Outside of performing, Rohan enjoys cooking, playing with his pets, playing tennis, and riding his bike. Dia is a 6th grader and is excited to be in her first show at Eagle Ridge Middle School. Outside of performing in shows, Dia likes to play piano and sing. Andrew is an 8th grader and is happy to join in his last musical with Eagle Ridge. He tries out multiple sports and instruments but likes Volleyball and singing the best. Animal lover. Joke time, I wrote a song about a tortilla. Actually it’s more of a wrap.

David is a 7th grader and is proud to have gotten some kind of speaking role in his first musical at Eagle Ridge. He has some past experience with acting through camps and such. Besides the occasional acting David likes to game, read, and play the cello. He hopes to improve his acting during the summer musical, so try to spot him there.
Finn is a 7th grader at Eagle Ridge. He’s happy to be in his 3rd musical, First was in Madagascar as Mort. Second was in Music man as Mayor Shinn, and now he is a jock/moderator in High School Musical. Finn can somewhat play the piano, and he enjoys writing in his free time. He would like to let the cast, crew, and adults helping know that everything they’ve made, sang, or done is amazing. He would also like to thank his friends and family for everything.

Madhuri is in 6th grade, and this is her 1st musical and she's excited to be here. She likes to bake, and listen to Taylor Swift in her free time. Madhuri plays the piano and plays basketball. Lina is a 7th grader and is absolutely overjoyed to be in her second musical here at Eagle Ridge! Lina is playing the role of Cathy, a thespian, in the ensemble. Last year, she was in the ensemble as an animal control officer and a lemur in Madagascar Jr. Outside of acting, Lina is a co-leader of the writing club here at ERMS. She also was part of All District Chorus this year, and loves to sing and play the ukulele outside of school. She'd like to thank her voice teacher at StageCoach Theatre for helping her out, as well as her family and friends for encouraging her, and she hopes everyone enjoys the show!
Hi my name is Prisha and I'm in 7th grade. This is my second musical at Eagle Ridge Middle School, and I played ensemble both times. I am so excited for this year's musical, High School Musical Jr. I do dance outside of school, along with a bunch of clubs. I want to say thank you to everyone in the cast and crew for making this show amazing, and putting all of their hard work for all of us.
Abby is a 6th grader and was happy to be in High School Musical .jr as cast, this was her first musical at Eagle Ridge. She was an ensemble at the musical, Abby has also been doing other drama camps outside of school. Outside of performing, Abby does swimming, and mostly drawing. I am a 6th and this is my first year at Eagle Ridge. Also, my first year doing a musical here! In 2023, I played Lily St. Regis in Annie at my dance studio since they do musical productions too. I enjoy to sing, dance and act which got me thinking that I should start trying out for school musicals! Outside of musicals, I love to dance, sing, and take headshots. A fun fact about me is that I was actually in a Nike commercial! I am so excited to be in my first musical at Eagle Ridge and I would like to thank all the cast and crew and directors for everything they've done for this show! Alyssa Keltz is an 8th grader at Eagle Ridge Middle School and is beyond excited to play the lead role for this years musical. This is Alyssa’s third musical at Eagle Ridge! In the spring of 2023, she played Rico the penguin in Madagascar Jr. In the summer of 2023, Alyssa played Amaryllis in The Music Man Jr. She is now playing Gabriella Montez in High School Musical Jr. Outside of theater, Alyssa is a commercial actor and model, appearing in ads for Spirit Halloween, Five Below, Newman’s Own, Giant, and others. Alyssa would like to thank our director, our producer, our acting coach who is also in charge of tech crew, and our amazing choreographer, who made this show possible as well as every person in the cast, tech crew, stage crew, creative crew, and costume crew. Akshana is a 7th grader and is excited to be in her second musical. Sophia is a 6th grader and is very excited to appear in her second musical at Eagle Ridge. In the summer of 2023 she was in the ensemble of Eagle Ridges production of the Music Man Jr.,and in this years spring musical she will also appear in the ensemble as a brainiac and a drum major. Outside of preforming Sophia also likes to play catcher for her softball team and go out with friends in her free time. I am Shrey. I am 7th grader, and happy to be part of her first musical at Eagle Ridge. I love sports but my favorite is football. I love to play basketball competitively and football for fun. I also play the piano. I would like to thank the cast, crew and the directors for all of their hard work in putting this production together. I would also like to thank my family for all of their love ans support.
Evelyn Neubauer is on Creative Crew for the first time. She enjoys painting, drawing, digital art, and manga so Creative Crew was a natural fit for her. She is participating in the summer musical Mean Girls 2 helping with set design again. She hopes to use her creative talents long term as a professional artist. Evelyn is cheered on from the audience by her brother Henry and her two sisters Emma and Magdalena.
Henry is an excited and eager 7th grader because this is his first musical production. He also wants to know if he can keep his fedora after the show is over. Henry also plays basketball in the AYBL basketball league and loves to hangout with his friends.
Abigail is a 6th grader and is very excited to be in her first school musical. Abigail's favorite subject in school is math. When Abigail is outside of school she likes to dance and play the violin. Ellie Arnwine is an 8th grader at Eagle Ridge and is very excited to be a part of her second musical! Before High School Musical Jr., she also acted in the ensemble in Madagascar Jr. She has had so much fun performing, singing, and dancing. When she's not on stage, Ellie likes baking, playing volleyball, and hanging out with her pet bunnies. I'm in 6th grade and really enjoyed being in the crew for the first time, it was fun to see all the components behind the scenes of a musical! The other kids on the creative crew were all extremely kind and fun-spirited. Outside of doing crew I play violin, and I play field hockey! The cast, the crew, and the teachers all worked extremely hard to make this musical come to life! I hope that everybody who saw it enjoyed it as much as we did making it!

She is going to be a cheerleader in High School Musical Jr. Outside of musicals, she does competitive dance and Eagle Ridge News Crew. Aubree (Gabriella) is a 7th grader and is thrilled to be in her first musical here at Eagle Ridge. She was very nervous at first to be trying something new, however she is so grateful for all of the cast, crew, and staff for being so welcoming. Aubree also wants to thank her family who have supported her as she finds a new passion for musical theatre. Lastly, she wants to thank her friends who have been so excited for her this whole time. Although this is Aubree's favorite pastime, she also enjoys playing volleyball, taking dance classes, playing piano, and writing. She wants to continue to grow in terms of acting and singing over the summer, so she is looking forward to taking theatre classes as well as taking part in the summer musical at Eagle Ridge!

Kaira is a 6th grader and is in her first Eagle Ridge Musical. She plays as a brainiac and also plays the role of "Kratnoff" in High School Musical Jr. She is really happy and excited to be able to participate in the musical with her friends and with great teachers guiding her along the way. When she is not performing in musicals, Kaira likes to read, draw, write, listen to music, and crochet. Heera is in 6th grade and she is very proud to be in her first musical at Eagle Ridge. She likes to meet new people and loves to be outside. She joined the High School Musical Jr. play because she wanted to learn how a musical works. She is part of the stage crew and she enjoyed every moment of building the show. Heera is so very thankful for being able to learn and be part of a beautiful show!
Carly is thrilled to be performing in her 11th and final show on the Eagle Ridge stage. From her first cameo appearance performing with her sisters in Seussical Jr. in 2015 to her role as Martha Cox in HSM Jr now, and everything in between, she has loved every minute. Outside of musicals Carly is involved in Girl Scouts and dance. She would like to thank the cast, crew, directors, producers, and choreographers for all their hard work and for making each show more memorable than the last. Au revoir Eagle Ridge!
Caroline is a 6th grader and is excited to be performing in her second musical at Eagle Ridge. She was in the ensemble of The Music Man Jr. last summer and had tons of fun. Outside of theater Caroline enjoys playing basketball and hanging out with her friends. Gianna is an energetic 11-year-old currently thriving in the 6th grade. With a passion for music, she has eagerly joined the High School Musical Jr. ensemble for the first time. She’s excited to be a part of this production and thankful for the opportunity.
Illarion is an 8th grader who is excited to appear in his second musical at ERMS. Illarion enjoys acting on stage since age 6. Illarion has participated in multiple drama programs. Besides acting, Illarion also plays guitar and piano, and loves learning. Illarion is grateful for the exciting opportunity to learn from musical's Directors and perform with a wonderful cast and crew.
Eileen is an 8th grader at ERMS. She has played Marta in the Sound of Music at the Hylton Performing Arts Center, Lavender in Matilda, Jr. at ERMS and a lioness in Madagascar, Jr. Eileen has also performed in Grease, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Ramona the Pest. Eileen loves singing with her school chorus, playing field hockey with Hammers rec league, and dancing hip hop at Ashburn Academy of Dance. So much love to her sister and bff, Elise, who she will miss when she goes to college, and her goofy dog, Baloo!
Avery is a 6th grader performing in her second musical at Eagle Ridge. She played Oliver Hix in The Music Man Jr. last year. Outside of performing, Avery plays field hockey, basketball and swim. Avery would like to thank everyone that helped this musical come to life and for all the support.

Elisabeth Sharp is an 8th grader and is so grateful to play Taylor McKessie in her final year at Eagle Ridge! She was in Beauty and the Beast Jr. and played the role of Babette. She was also in the musical Madagascar Jr. and played a lioness. In her free time, she does American Freestyle karate and recently earned her 3rd Degree Black belt. She also loves reading, singing, and sketching in her free time! Elisabeth would love to thank the whole High School musical team for all their hard work in making this amazing production come to life! Taylor is a 6th grader and is excited to try something new and be in her first musical. You normally find Taylor performing, flipping, and swinging for gymnastics meets, so trying a new stage has been exciting. Thank you to all the teachers for their support and direction this year in getting her on the stage, thank you to the ERMS PTA for making it possible, and thank you to all cast, crew and directors. Taylor learned so much.
Lucas Is a 7th grader and this is his first musical at Eagle Ridge. Last year he participated in making the sets of Madagascar Jr. but this year he wanted to be a part of the actual cast. when he's not on the stage he plays the piano and does Ninja (Ninja in other words is parkour). He would like to thank everyone for their commitment and determination to make this show possible. This whole experience has been wonderful and the other cast members have been a delight. He would also like to thank his loved ones for supporting him in this process.
Harper is a 6th grader at Eagle Ridge. She has had a great time being a part of this production with her friends. When she is not at rehearsals Harper enjoys reading and playing lacrosse.
Autumn is an 8th grader and is excited to do her 4th play at Eagle ridge! She was stage manager for Madagascar and in stage crew for legally blonde and Matilda. Outside of doing the plays, Autumn plays the cello and piano and runs track. She would like to thank her family and friends as well as everyone who made the show possible!
Caroline Smith is a sixth grader and this is her first musical at Eagle Ridge! Last year she played a Chief Ancestor in Disney’s Moana Jr at Dominion Trail Elementary. In addition to being in the musical, she is also a member of the Edge Performing Company at Ashburn Academy of Dance, Ballet Theatre of Ashburn, and she also plays the French Horn. She wants to thank everyone for all their hard work on the show and sends her love to her family.
Ankita is a 7th grader and is happy to be part of High School Musical Jr. costume crew. This is her first time taking part in a musical! Ankita also plays the piano and loves to read. She would like to thank the cast, crew and directors for all the work they put in creating this production.
Aubtin is a sixth grader and this is his first ever musical. He is tech crew and he is doing sound. He really likes doing things related to technology like coding, video and photo editing and more which is why he picked tech crew. Outside of school, he plays baseball, plays the violin and likes to solve Rubik’s cubes, play video games and do tech-related things. He is really excited for the musical and can’t wait.
Zara is a 6th grader and is so happy to be part of the Hair/Make up team at Eagle Ridge MS. This is her first time backstage during a musical. Outside of doing Hair/Make up, Zara does soccer and she is very passionate about school. Raina is a 7th grader at Eagle Ridge Middle School. She is thrilled to be in her first musical at Eagle Ridge! She is in the ensemble of High School Musical JR this year. Ariana is in 6th grade and this is her second show at ERMS. Her first show was ‘The Music Man’ in the summer of 2023. Ariana enjoys singing, reading, and writing. Ariana would like to thank her mom, dad, brother, and friends for being there and helping out with her role in this production.
Kyran is in 7th grade and is starring as Troy in High School Musical Junior. This is the first production that Kyran has been a part of. Kyran is very excited that he got the lead, and hopes to excel at that. In his free time, Kyran likes to play video games and play sports such as football and basketball, and hang out with friends. Sophia DeBauche is a 6th grader who is usually practicing soccer. She is a triplet who graduated from Waxpool Elementary last year, and she loves ERMS so far. She is having a blast learning about theater and being a partygoer in this year's HSMJr production.
Lily is a sixth grader and HSM Jr is her first musical. In addition to being on the creative and stage crews, She plays field hockey, plays basketball and swims. Lily would like to thank Ms. G and Mrs. K for their dedication to making HSM Jr successful. She would also like to thank her family for supporting her.
Allison is in 7th grade and is excited to help out with costuming in her first musical. Outside of crew Allison has a big passion for competitive dance. Allison has been dancing for almost 6 years and competing for 2. Her friends inspired her to do crew for this year's musical. She is so grateful she gets to have this experience!
Annabelle is a 7th grader here at Eagle Ridge and is really excited to be in High School Musical Jr! She will be playing the role of Sharpay, and could not be more thrilled! Annabelle moved to Eagle Ridge this year from Georgia, so this is her first musical here at Eagle Ridge but has been apart of other musicals in her past school in Puerto Rico to include Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan and High School Musical Jr. She has taken part in the All District Chorus for the past two years and loves dancing at Ashburn Academy of Dance. When she is not dancing or singing you can find her hanging with her friends and family. She would love to thank all of the cast and crew and all the directors that made this happen. She would also love to thank her family for all of the support and love. Go Wildcats!
Elizabeth is a 6th grader and had a great time building and painting the sets for high school musical. i play softball and this is my first year. i am very happy because i made most of my friends during crew. i had so much fun this year and hope to be part of the cast next year
Edan is a 7th grader, and High School Musical Jr marks her 3rd production at Eagle Ridge. She served as Costume Lead in Madagascar Jr, and performed as Jacey Squires in the Barbershop Quartet in The Music Man Jr. She enjoys filling roles in both cast and crew equally, but she is very excited to take on the challenge of Student Director in HSM. Edan is grateful for the opportunity to work with such a talented cast and crew, and she thanks Ms G, Ms K, and all the leadership for their dedication and commitment.
Olachi is an 8th grader and is ready to appear in her second musical at Eagle Ridge. She was an ensemble in Legally Blonde. She plays the role of being in the Brainiacs. Thanks to all of her friends and crew for the amazing experience of partaking in this musical. She can't wait to perform and excel with her friends! Some say that she is only in it for the food...
