What is the time commitment for Link Leaders?
It's important to have enough time to support your 9th graders! The time commitment is:
2 training days (9-3) in mid-August
Orientation (1 full day) about 3 days before school starts
2 meetings a month (either before school or after school - you must be able to attend one!)
1 lesson during Advisory a month
About 1 after school event per quarter (ex. tailgate, Linksgiving, etc.)
I attend the Academies of Loudoun - can I still be a Link Leader?
It will be more challenging to serve as a Link Crew and be in an Academy, but you may still apply.
I cannot attend part of training. Can I still be a Link Leader?
Unfortunately, no. Attending all of training is critical for a successful orientation.
