Middle school students will dive into an exciting week of creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving using a variety of tools and technologies provided by Creative Hut at the AWS Think Big Space.

Day 1: Launch & Exploration
10:00–10:30 AM – Welcome, introductions, and a fun icebreaker to kick things off!
10:30 AM–12:00 PM – Dive into the Hopper Challenge, a series of engaging sessions and iterations designed to build problem-solving momentum.
12:00–12:20 PM – Lunch & debrief. Begin exploring potential partners for the week-long project.
12:20–12:40 PM – Introduction to the main challenge of the week. Students begin focused brainstorming with their partners in huddle stations.
12:40–2:00 PM – Project work begins!

Days 2–4: Deep Work & Daily Discoveries
10:00–10:30 AM – Kick off each day with a short activity introducing a new resource or strategy.
Thursday: Our HS Interns will lead a special session based on a chosen resource!
10:30 AM–12:00 PM – Focused project work time.
12:00–12:20 PM – Lunch & daily debrief/check-in.
12:20–2:00 PM – Continue project development.
Note: Final project work should wrap up by end of day Thursday.
Day 5: Showcase & Celebration
10:00 AM–12:00 PM – Final prep for team presentations.
12:00–12:20 PM – Lunch break.
12:20–2:00 PM – Teams present their challenge solutions to families, Amazon volunteers, and invited guests.
This may be a judged competition with prizes!
All materials will be provided, and no prior experience is needed—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to learn!
