Broad Run Feminist Club

All About Feminist Club

Our club is a supportive space where we promote equality for all people and discuss what the principles of feminism are. We hold monthly seminar-style meetings where our board members present a feminism-related topic to our group to raise discussions. We run campaigns around the school, have book clubs, and fundraise for important causes.

Where & When are Meetings Held?

Meetings are held on the first Tuesdays of each month at 8:45 AM in Ms. Sacco’s room, Room 204B!

What is Feminism?

Feminism has many definitions across the board, and it can be confusing for a lot of people to understand. To us, feminism is the fight and actions toward achieving equal rights and opportunities among all races and genders. Feminism has its own discourse within itself. Most of this discourse revolves around intersectional feminism, which has to do with inclusivity in feminism, and not only focusing on white cisgender women.
