Why Choose Intramural Sports?
At BAM, we're all about giving every student the chance to shine! Our Intramural Sports Program is designed to help students engage with their school community, build social connections, and improve academically. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just looking for fun, this is your chance to be part of something great!

Who Can Play?
All middle school students enrolled in the LCPS Intramural Sports Program are welcome! To participate, students must be in good standing with their school on the day of each tournament. Make sure to complete all registration forms online through the Activity Registration website and complete the required physical form.

Sports Offered:

• Quarter 1: 7v7 Flag Football

  1. Rules Clinic and Team Sign-up on Wednesday, September 3 @ 7:45am in Room 607.

  2. Pool Games are from 3:25 - 4:45 pm on 9/4, 9/11, 9/18, 9/25, 10/9

  3. Playoff Games are from 3:25 - 4:45 pm on 10/16

  4. LCPS Championship tournament is on 10/25

  5. Transportation will be provided to all students using the Activity Buses but capacity is limited and parent pickup is encouraged. Please be advised that due to transportation constraints, buses may not arrive until 5:00 PM or 5:15 PM. Students will be supervised in the cafeteria after clubs until the bus arrives, by school administration. Buses will be picking up students and dropping them off regionally. • Quarter 2: 6v6 Volleyball

  2. Pool Games are from 3:25 - 4:45 pm on 11/13, 11/20, 12/4, 12/11, 1/8

  3. Playoff Games are from 3:25 - 4:45 pm on 1/15

  4. LCPS Championship tournament is on 1/31 

• Quarter 3: 3v3 Basketball

  1. Rules Clinic and Team Sign-up on TBD @ 3:30 pm in the Main Gym

  2. Pool Games are from 3:25 - 4:45 pm on 2/12, 2/19, 2/26, 3/5, 3/12

  3. Playoff Games are from 3:25 - 4:45 pm on 3/24** (Tuesday instead of Thursday)

  4. LCPS Championship tournament is on 4/11

• Quarter 4: 7v7 Soccer

  1. Rules Clinic and Team Sign-up on TBD @ 3:30 pm in the Main Gym

  2. Pool Games are from 3:25 - 4:45 pm on 4/16, 4/23, 4/30, 5/7, 5/14

  3. Playoff Games are from 3:25 - 4:45 pm on 5/21 & 5/28

No Tryouts, No Coaches, No Fees—Just Fun!

• Open to All: If you’re eligible and in good academic standing, you can play!

• No Experience Needed: Anyone can join, regardless of skill level.

• No Costs: It’s free to participate! Just bring your own mouthpiece, t-shirt, shorts, athletic shoes, and any protective gear you may need.

FAQs:

• Do I Need Experience?
  Nope! Intramural sports are all about having fun, so no experience is necessary. Just sign up, show up, and enjoy the game!

• How Does It Work?
  Students create their own teams with friends, or individuals can be placed on a team. Games are held after school on Thursdays starting September 4th—no practices, just games!

• Can We Compete Against Other Schools?
  Yes! The top team from each school will compete in the LCPS Championship Tournament at the end of each season.

• How Do I Sign Up?
  Register online at https://lcps-ar.rschooltoday.com and attend the Rules Clinic / Team Sign-Up Meetings on the dates specified above. Space is limited, so sign up soon! You must bring your completed Physical Exam form (first page only) to Mr. Hoyler before the first week of games (Sept. 4 for Flag Football).
