Course selection timeline:

January 3 - Feb. 23: Rising 6th grade music selections (vary by school)

January 11 @ 6:30 pm: Rising 6th Parent Course Info Night (at BAM)

January 31 - Feb. 23: 5th Grade Teachers make core 4 recommendations (vary by school)

February 7: Instrument Night @ BAM 6:30-8:30 (Last names A-H)

February 10: Instrument Night @ BAM 6:30-8:30 (Last names I-P)

February 15: Instrument Night @ BAM 6:30-8:30 (Last names Q-Z)

February 25: Teacher recommendation letters w/permission click acknowledgement sent to parents by Elementary school

February 28 - April 8: Any course change request must be made through the Course Request Change Form

April 8th: Deadline for Course Request Changes

changing your course requests:

  • Students make their music elective selections through their Elementary school between January 3rd and February 23rd 2022.

  • February 25th teacher recommendation letters w/permission click acknowledgment sent to parents

  • After February 25th, a parent may request to change their student's course selections by completing the ES Course Request Change Form (rising 6th students only).

  • Any course request change moving from Academic to Honors requires communication with the elementary teacher first. After this communication occurs, parents must complete the ES Course Request Change form (rising 6th students only).

  • All course request changes must be submitted via google form by the deadline of April 8, 2022. No changes will be honored after that date.

CLIMB Time

Morning Session: 8:30-11:30am

Afternoon Session: 12:30-3:30pm

Climb Time will give students the opportunity to practice opening their locker, a chance to explore the school and follow a mock schedule, lessons on time management, organization, and study skills, and many other activities to ensure they are prepared for middle school. It will also give students a chance to meet new students from other schools and build friendships prior to the start of school.

The cost of the camp is $125, and includes a t-shirt, daily snack, materials, and staffing costs. Financial assistance is available upon request.
