Overview

The 43rd Annual Loudoun County Regional Science & Engineering Fair, RSEF, will be an in-person event in 2025. Category, Special Awards, and Finalist Judging will be held in-person on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at John Champe High School. The RSEF Awards Ceremony will be held at John Champe High School on Thursday, March 20 at 7:00 pm. Virtual portions of the fair will be hosted on this LCPS Regional Science & Engineering Fair website.

The purpose of our fair is

  • to stimulate student interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM),

  • to encourage students to engage in research in STEM fields,

  • to provide students opportunities to present research to STEM professionals and the community, and

  • to give public recognition to students for their work.

The 43rd Annual LCPS Regional Science & Engineering Fair (RSEF) will involve over 300 high school students from Loudoun County Public Schools. Students are selected to participate in the RSEF by their schools.

To contact the LCPS Science Office about RSEF, please email: RSEF@lcps.org

Student Submissions

On this website, you will find a PDF Slide Presentation (12 slides max) for each project that describes their work.  Students were provided a template for the Slide Presentation.
