About Mrs. Miller
Hello! This is my 23rd year of teaching at TJES. I have taught kindergarten and second grade. I was born and raised in Louisa and attended TJ as a student. I enjoy hiking, traveling, spending time with my family, and scuba diving. This is going to be a great year.

About Mrs. Lane
Hello TJES Families! My name is Kate Lane, and this is my fifth year teaching at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School. I am a Louisa native, and graduated from Louisa County High School in 2013, and still reside in the county with my husband and daughter, our dog Drac, and my two guinea pigs, Bambino and Ripken. I was a college athlete at the University of Mary Washington where I received both my Bachelor's degree, and Master's degree of Science in Elementary Education. This coming school year I will be one of the 2nd Grade Math teachers. When I am not in the classroom I enjoy coaching the Lady Lions JV Softball team, attending major and minor league baseball games, visiting historical sites and museums, and wandering around the local farmers markets with my family.
