We Welcome All Here!
IEP, 504, ELL, TAG
I have been at LCMS since July of 1999 and first worked with seventh grade students then moved to sixth grade before coming to eighth grade during the 2019-2020 school year. Some of you might remember me as Miss McGinley.
I am originally from Brooklyn, NY, and currently live in Louisa, Va. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Mary Baldwin College, and a Masters of Science in Counseling and Human Development from Radford University. I am a volunteer firefighter and was previously certified as an EMT.
I work closely with students, parents, faculty and staff to meet the educational, career, and social/personal needs of all grade students. As professional school counselors we work to develop confidential relationships with students to help them resolve and/or cope with problems and developmental concerns.
In my spare time I enjoy walking, reading, going to country music concerts and spending time with my family.
