Welcome to the wonderful world of your own personal Chromebook! Just as with any other school supply, you need to have your Chromebook ready to go each day. It is your responsibility to make sure that your computer is charged and with your belongings for school. Make it part of your daily ritual to charge your computer (as you would charge your cell phone!) the night before school.
Head to the Technology Desk on the second floor. They will give you a loaner computer for the day. The entire process takes less than five minutes, so you should go as soon as you realize that your computer is not with you!
The Technology Help Desk is located on the second floor of the main building. It is room 253 at the end of the hallway. It is the end classroom, opposite the health room. The word Technology is written on the door.
Your teacher should be able to locate an outlet in his/her room for you to plug into. However, make sure that you charge your laptop from now on!
Check your battery level. You may be able to get through an entire class period without needing to charge because of the long life of the Chromebooks.
If you don't have enough, head to the Technology Desk on the second floor. They will give you a loaner computer for the day. The entire process takes less than five minutes, so you should go as soon as you realize that your computer is not with you!

On a full and recent charge, the Chromebook should be able to last for up to eight hours of continuous use. Students should charge their Chromebook each night. It will take 4-5 hours to completely charge.
If you have internet access at home, you can connect your Chromebook to your home WiFi. The Chromebook only works on WiFi and will not work via a direct connection to a network. Check with your internet provider for information regarding home WiFi support.
